We have created this site to give tribute to one of the greatest batsman Ricky Thomas Ponting  who is the now captain of the Australian cricket team in Test Cricket, One Day International and 20-20 cricket. Ponting also represents the Tasmanian Tigers in Australian Domestic cricket, a side he plays for intermittently due to international commitments. He is a  right handed batsman and right arm medium pace bowler.

 

Ponting reached international standards at a young age for a batsman, making his One Day International and Test debuts in 1995 at the age of 20. He became the One Day International captain of Australian tam in 2002 and became Test captain in 2004. In recent years, he has been consistently ranked in the top-five batsmen in both One Day International cricket and Test matches in the official ICC ratings. He is most century maker in Test Cricket after Sachin Tendulkar (India).
